OneLoop

OneLoop is a team of graduate and undergraduate students based in Davis, California, dedicated to designing and constructing a Hyperloop pod for competitive entry in SpaceX's annual Hyperloop competition. Comprised of four employees, the team leverages the diverse expertise of its over 50 members, spanning fields like engineering, computer science, physics, business, and design. OneLoop focuses on pushing the boundaries of transportation technology by developing and refining their Hyperloop pod. Their ultimate goal is to demonstrate the potential of Hyperloop technology as a viable and innovative mode of transportation. Beyond their Hyperloop project, OneLoop has engaged in impactful research, authoring a white paper on track creation within the Sacramento Valley for freight transport. This paper garnered significant attention, receiving reviews from prominent figures including Chancellor May of UC Davis, the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG), and TransLink, the transportation authority of British Columbia.
