ONEgeneration

ONEgeneration is a non-profit organization based in Van Nuys, California. The organization employs 84 people and generates $50 million in annual revenue. ONEgeneration provides a wide range of services to seniors, children, and their families. These services include adult daycare and childcare in a shared setting, meal delivery to homebound seniors, meals for ambulatory seniors at five facilities, transportation for seniors to medical appointments, and care management services. The organization also offers programs for pregnant and parenting teens, pregnancy prevention education, mentoring and skills-building programs for at-risk youth, and a weekly certified-organic farmers market. The organization is widely recognized for its intergenerational programming. At its intergenerational center, older adults and young children interact and participate in activities eight to nine times daily. At the senior enrichment center, active older adults work with foster youth and at-risk youth through arts programs, meal preparation, and service.
