One Circle Foundation

One Circle Foundation is a non-profit organization based in San Rafael, California, with a staff of five employees. The organization generates an annual revenue of $2.5 million. One Circle Foundation transforms lives through circles by promoting resiliency and healthy relationships. They provide training, curricula, and consultation to youth serving organizations across all sectors. Their research-based circle models, Girls Circle and The Council for Boys and Young Men, are designed to be gender-responsive and inclusive. Girls Circle is a structured support group model for girls aged 9 to 18. Developed locally, it aims to foster self-esteem, encourage authentic connections with peers and adult women, counter societal pressures that lead to self-doubt, and create a space for genuine self-expression through verbal sharing and creative activities. The Council for Boys and Young Men is a strengths-based group approach that promotes healthy male development. The program empowers boys and young men to find belonging, develop valuable assets, and challenge traditional notions of masculinity.
