The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) was a public body based in the United Kingdom responsible for the development and construction of venues and infrastructure for the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games. The ODA employed 56 people and generated $100 million in revenue. The ODA's primary function was to build new permanent venues for the Games, which would later be repurposed for public use, and temporary facilities that were to be dismantled or relocated after the event. Their responsibilities also included enhancing existing sports venues and planning, delivering, and managing transport infrastructure to support the Games. Additionally, the ODA was tasked with regulating advertising and trading activities in and around London 2012 events. Following the Games, the ODA was responsible for converting the Olympic and Paralympic Village into 2,818 residential homes, with approximately half designated as affordable housing. They also oversaw the dismantling of the temporary venue at the Royal Artillery Barracks and the return of the site to the Ministry of Defence. The ODA concluded its operations by settling over £6 billion in commercial contracts before being dissolved in 2014. For more information, please visit culture.gov.uk.
