Oklahoma Sheriffs Association

The Oklahoma Sheriffs Association is a non-profit organization headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Founded in 1991, the Oklahoma Sheriffs Association carries on a legacy that dates back to Oklahoma's statehood, with newspaper accounts from 1910 documenting Sheriffs uniting to oppose legislative action. The association's mission is twofold: to support the elected Sheriffs of Oklahoma's 77 counties and to champion public safety. The Oklahoma Sheriffs Association is entirely self-funded, relying solely on the support of its active, honorary, business, and corporate members. To ensure transparency and maximize the impact of donations, the association only solicits contributions via U.S. mail, guaranteeing that 100% of donations are dedicated to fulfilling its mission objectives. The association is registered as a not-for-profit corporation with the Oklahoma Secretary of State and recognized as a 501(c)(3) corporation by the IRS, making all contributions tax-deductible.
