Oklahoma Commissioners of the Land Office

The Oklahoma Commissioners of the Land Office (CLO) is a state agency based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The CLO employs 16 individuals and generates approximately $50 million in revenue. The CLO manages a vast portfolio of land and mineral assets for the benefit of education in Oklahoma. This includes over 730,000 surface acres and 1.1 million mineral acres, as well as a $2.7 billion investment portfolio. The agency is responsible for the responsible management and development of these assets, ensuring that revenue generated is distributed to support Oklahoma's K-12 and higher education institutions. In Fiscal Year 2020, the CLO distributed nearly $127 million in revenue to designated educational institutions.
