OKLAHOMA CHILDRENS THEATRE INC

Oklahoma Children’s Theatre Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Located on the Oklahoma City University campus, the organization employs five people and generates approximately $1 million in annual revenue. Founded nearly four decades ago, Oklahoma Children’s Theatre is dedicated to fostering the creativity and education of children across Oklahoma. The organization offers a variety of theatrical experiences for young audiences, including a diverse season of live performances for Pre-K through 6th grade. These productions take place in one of three performance spaces on the OCU campus and encompass approximately 70 performances per season, catering to both daytime weekday field trips and weekend family audiences. Oklahoma Children’s Theatre also develops a dedicated touring show that travels to 25 to 30 communities throughout the state, ensuring access to the arts for children in more rural areas. In addition to live theatre, Oklahoma Children’s Theatre offers one-week camps throughout the summer and during school breaks (spring, fall, and winter). These camps, designed for children ages 5-13, provide a dynamic environment to explore performing and visual arts.
