The Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) is an independent, non-partisan organization operating in Washington, DC. With a staff of three employees, the OCE focuses on upholding ethical standards within the United States House of Representatives. The OCE's primary function is to investigate allegations of misconduct involving Members, officers, and staff of the House. They meticulously review these claims and, when warranted, forward their findings to the House Committee on Ethics. A defining characteristic of the OCE is its commitment to transparency.
