Northern Star Scouting BSA

Northern Star Council is a non-profit organization based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As one of the five largest councils in the United States, the organization serves over 32,000 young people in a 25 county area spanning central Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The council provides a range of programs and activities to youth, including scouting units (packs, troops, teams, crews, posts, and groups) that are chartered by over 1,100 community organizations. These programs focus on character development, leadership skills, and outdoor adventure. Northern Star Council also operates Base Camp and other properties that offer outdoor recreation and educational experiences. A vital part of Northern Star Council's success is its strong volunteer network. Over 21,000 volunteers contribute their time and expertise to support the council's mission.
