Northeastern Florida Regional Council

The Northeast Florida Regional Council (NEFRC) is a regional planning council based in Jacksonville, Florida. It is a dynamic network of local governments, encompassing seven counties and 26 municipalities. NEFRC serves its member jurisdictions by identifying and communicating regional issues, convening stakeholders to collaborate on solutions, and analyzing data to inform planning decisions. Their mission is to leverage the unique assets of Northeast Florida and foster collaboration between people, businesses, governments, and organizations within the region. The Northeast Florida Regional Council was established in 1977 under Florida Statutes to promote coordinated planning and cooperative activities among federal, state, and local governments.
