NJTL of Trenton

National Junior Tennis & Learning of Trenton, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Trenton, New Jersey. Founded in 1975, the organization employs 14 individuals and offers a variety of programs designed to enhance the lives of youth. NJTLT provides a range of programs, including life skills and tennis instruction, an Academic Creative Engagement (ACE) program focused on literacy, math, and nutrition, a seven-week summer camp, and the Ashe Elite program offering advanced ACE education and tennis training. Additionally, they award three $5,000 college scholarships. These programs aim to instill values of sportsmanship, leadership, self-esteem, academic excellence, and respect in participants. Affiliated with the United States Tennis Association (USTA), NJTLT aligns with the ideals of tennis legend Arthur Ashe. As part of a nationwide network of over 650 nonprofit youth development organizations, NJTLT reaches out to underprivileged youth, providing opportunities and instruction in tennis, education, and life skills.
