NIWAP

The National Immigrant Women's Advocacy Project (NIWAP) is a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. With six employees, NIWAP focuses its efforts on empowering immigrant survivors of abuse and advocating for systemic change to address the unique challenges they face. NIWAP provides a range of services designed to support immigrant survivors and the professionals who serve them. These include technical assistance to advocates, attorneys, law enforcement agencies, and courts, as well as policy advocacy and research initiatives aimed at dismantling barriers faced by survivors.
