Ney Nature Center

Ney Nature Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to conservation and education located in Henderson, Minnesota. Employing a staff of four, the center manages and protects the 446-acre Ney Wildlife Preserve. The Ney Nature Center offers a wide range of natural experiences for visitors. The preserve boasts diverse habitats including forests, prairie, meadows, bluffs, creeks, and a variety of wildlife. The center encourages exploration and interaction with the natural world through its extensive trail system, accessible from Highway 169. The Ney Nature Center is committed to inspiring appreciation and respect for nature. The Education Building, open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 4pm, provides visitors with opportunities to learn more about the preserve and its inhabitants. Visitors are welcome to bring their leashed dogs to explore the trails and dispose of waste at designated locations near the first parking lot.
