New York State University Police

The New York State University Police is a law enforcement agency based in the United States. The department employs 26 individuals and generates revenue exceeding $10,000 annually. The New York State University Police is responsible for maintaining safety and order across twenty-eight campuses within the State University of New York system. Their duties encompass crime prevention, enforcement of state and local laws, and fostering a secure environment for students, faculty, and staff. Beyond traditional law enforcement, officers actively engage in the educational process by delivering presentations on topics such as crime prevention, drug awareness, sexual assault, and traffic safety.
