New York City Environmental Justice Alliance

The New York City Environmental Justice Alliance (NYC-EJA) is a non-profit organization based in Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 1991, NYC-EJA is comprised of fifteen employees and generates approximately $2.5 million in annual revenue. NYC-EJA works to empower low-income communities of color throughout New York City by advocating for their environmental rights. They achieve this by organizing member groups and uniting them around city and state-wide issues that impact their ability to thrive.
