New Rochelle Public Library

The New Rochelle Public Library (NRPL) is a library situated in downtown New Rochelle, New York. A school-district library, NRPL is managed independently with its own operating budget and a seven-member elected Board of Trustees. NRPL provides a diverse collection of materials, encompassing both retrospective and current offerings. The library offers access to up-to-date technology and hosts a variety of community services and programs for a wide range of individuals. The library has served the 81,500 residents of New Rochelle since 1979 from its main location in the downtown business district. In addition to the main library, NRPL also operates a branch known as the Huguenot Children’s Library, located in a park in front of the New Rochelle High School.
