New Breath Foundation

New Breath Foundation (NBF) is a non-profit organization based in Oakland, California. Founded in 2017, NBF is a small organization with a dedicated team of four employees. NBF focuses on providing resources and support to Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) who have been negatively impacted by the immigration and criminal justice systems. Their mission is to help these individuals heal, maintain family unity, and participate in movements that advocate for policy changes and shift societal perceptions. NBF draws upon the collective experience of its staff and board members, who have extensive backgrounds in community organizing, fundraising, non-profit management, philanthropy, and leadership development.
