NCHSAA

The North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) is a voluntary, non-profit corporation dedicated to providing governance and leadership for interscholastic athletic programs that support and enrich the educational experience of high school students. Founded in the early 20th century, the NCHSAA administers and certifies the eligibility of over 427 member high schools across the state, ensuring fair competition. The NCHSAA governs and sets standards for over 2,000 student-athletes annually, encompassing a wide range of sports at various skill levels. The Association, accredited by the State Department of Public Instruction, maintains a strict code of conduct and works closely with member schools to provide a safe and positive athletic environment. The NCHSAA is headquartered in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
