Naturopathic Medical Student Association

The Naturopathic Medical Student Association (NMSA) is a 501C(3) nonprofit organization based in Portland, Oregon. The student-governed association, established in 2003, supports and advocates for over 3,400 naturopathic medical students at eight accredited naturopathic medical schools across the United States and Canada. NMSA provides a range of services and initiatives designed to prepare students for their careers as physicians. These include educational programs, community building activities, and advocacy efforts on behalf of naturopathic medical students. The organization acts as a unified voice for students, ensuring their needs and perspectives are heard within the broader healthcare community. NMSA's structure is comprised of student body leadership from each campus, creating a collaborative network of representation. The organization is led by a Board of Directors comprised of dedicated student representatives from various naturopathic medical schools.
