National Western Stock Show

The National Western Stock Show is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in Denver, Colorado. Established in 1906, the organization is known for its size, employing 105 people. The National Western Stock Show is the premier livestock, rodeo, and horse show in the nation, serving agricultural producers and consumers worldwide. The organization hosts one of the world’s richest regular-season professional rodeos, one of the country’s largest horse shows, and Colorado’s largest western trade show. As one of Colorado’s preeminent tourist destinations, the event takes place every January for 16 days, attracting more than 650,000 visitors annually. The National Western Stock Show also provides education in agriculture, including college and graduate level scholarships in agriculture and veterinary medicine for practice in rural areas.
