National Center for Crisis Management

The National Center for Crisis Management® is a multidisciplinary organization based in Ronkonkoma, New York. With 5 to 9 employees, they are dedicated to enhancing support and intervention for victims of crisis situations. The Center provides a platform for professionals across various disciplines, including health, emergency services, law enforcement, and academia, to connect, share expertise, and establish standards for crisis intervention. They offer Diplomate and Fellowship status to members who meet specific criteria. Additionally, the Center provides certification programs in 17 specialty areas related to traumatic stress and crisis management. The National Center for Crisis Management collaborates with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress to promote the advancement of intervention for survivors of traumatic events. Together, they aim to identify and recognize expertise within the field, fostering a network of skilled professionals dedicated to supporting victims before, during, and after crisis situations.
