National Association of Chronic Disease Directors NACDD

The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) is a public health association based in Decatur, Georgia. Founded in 1988, the organization has grown to support over 7,000 members across the United States. NACDD provides a variety of resources and services for chronic disease program directors in each state and U.S. territory. These include educational and training opportunities, legislative analyses, policy statements, and technical assistance. NACDD also advocates for increased funding for state chronic disease prevention and control efforts, and works to develop partnerships with various stakeholders in the public and private sectors to advance common goals. NACDD distinguishes itself through its extensive network of councils focused on specific chronic diseases.
