The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) is a non-profit organization based in College Park, Maryland. With 91 employees, NABJ is a leading advocate for Black journalists across the globe. Founded in 1975, NABJ is the largest organization of journalists of color in the United States. NABJ offers a range of programs and services designed to support black journalists at all career stages. The organization provides scholarships, internships, and fellowships to students and professionals, totaling nearly $100,000 in financial support annually.NABJ also hosts the NABJ Media Institute, which delivers professional development and technical training to Black journalists at various locations throughout the country.
