National Adult Protective Services Association

The National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA) is a non-profit organization based in Washington, District of Columbia. Established in 1989, NAPSA is a 501 (c) (3) organization with 19 employees. NAPSA provides a platform for Adult Protective Services (APS) programs across the United States to collaborate, share best practices, and enhance the quality of services for victims of elder and vulnerable adult mistreatment. The organization's mission is to empower APS programs at all levels to effectively identify, address, and prevent abuse, neglect, and exploitation of elders and adults with disabilities. NAPSA strives to strengthen the capacity of APS programs nationwide to effectively respond to the needs of vulnerable individuals.
