NASTAD

NASTAD is a non-partisan, non-profit association based in Washington, District of Columbia. NASTAD employs 114 individuals and generates approximately $50 million in annual revenue. The organization works to advance the health and dignity of people living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, and other intersecting epidemics. NASTAD achieves this by focusing on seven key programmatic areas: Health Care Access, Health Systems Integration, Policy & Legislative Affairs, Hepatitis, Prevention, Health Equity, and Drug User Health. These teams provide a range of services including policy interpretation and influence, trainings, technical assistance, and advocacy mobilization, all aimed at improving health outcomes for individuals living with HIV and hepatitis. NASTAD's mission is to strengthen governmental public health through advocacy, capacity building, and social justice.
