Nasher Museum of Art

The Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University is a museum located in Durham, North Carolina. Founded in 2005, the museum employs 37 people. The Nasher Museum houses a collection of contemporary art, European medieval art, European and American paintings, Outsider art, classical antiquities, African art, and ancient American art. The museum's collection strategy focuses on works by diverse artists, particularly those of African descent, who have historically been underrepresented in mainstream institutions.
