Mt Cuba Center

Mt. Cuba Center is a botanical garden located in Hockessin, Delaware. Founded in the 1930s as a private estate, it is now a public institution dedicated to showcasing the beauty and importance of native plants. The center employs 65 people and generates an annual revenue of $50 million. Mt. Cuba Center features a variety of gardens, including formal gardens surrounding a du Pont mansion, stunning vistas, intimate woodlands, and lush meadows. Visitors can explore these landscapes through winding paths, experiencing the diverse beauty of native plant life. In addition to its public gardens, the center conducts research, offers educational programs, and hosts classes throughout the year.
