Moot Court Honor Board at Suffolk Law

The Moot Court Honor Board at Suffolk Law is a student-run organization headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. Comprised of 19 employees, the organization focuses on providing law students with practical experience in legal research, writing, and advocacy. The Honor Board's primary functions are managing and organizing four intra-scholastic competitions: The Honorable Walter H. McLaughlin Appellate Advocacy Competition, The Tom C. Clark Appellate Advocacy Competition, and The Moot Court Trial Competition. In addition, they publish the Suffolk Journal of Trial & Appellate Advocacy twice a year. The journal features in-depth analyses of current legal issues, composed of articles by legal experts and student-written Notes and Case Comments. The competitions are designed to simulate real-world legal experiences, utilizing judges from the judiciary and prominent practitioners. This hands-on approach allows students to develop their legal skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
