The Friendship Center is a non-profit organization based in Conroe, Texas, dedicated to supporting the well-being and independence of senior adults in Montgomery County. With a team of 12 employees, The Friendship Center provides a range of services to help seniors remain active and engaged members of their community. The Friendship Center offers a variety of programs designed to meet the diverse needs of seniors. These include transportation services, Meals on Wheels for homebound seniors, case management assistance, and congregate meals and activities at six centers located throughout Montgomery County. The organization's commitment to inclusivity ensures that all services are provided free of charge to individuals over the age of 60. Last year alone, The Friendship Center provided over 20,000 transportation trips to seniors and served more than 100,000 meals to homebound individuals.
