Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless

Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH) is a nonprofit organization based in Rockville, Maryland. With a staff of 94 employees, MCCH is dedicated to addressing homelessness in Montgomery County. Working towards a vision of a community where everyone has safe and affordable housing, the organization generates approximately $14.2 million in annual revenue. MCCH operates a range of programs aimed at both immediate assistance and long-term solutions. Their services include three emergency programs that provide support to individuals currently experiencing homelessness, and eight permanent supportive housing (PSH) programs designed to help individuals and families transition out of homelessness. Through these programs, MCCH serves over 1,600 men, women, and children each year. In addition to its direct service programs, MCCH partners with Coalition Homes, Inc., a nonprofit housing development organization. Coalition Homes develops and manages permanent housing units for formerly homeless individuals and families. Currently, Coalition Homes owns and manages 140 units, providing stable homes for those who have previously experienced homelessness.
