Montgomery Ballet

Montgomery Ballet is a non-profit arts organization located in Montgomery, Alabama. Established in 1958 as the Montgomery Civic Ballet, the company grew into a professional ballet company in 1987. As the only professional ballet company in Montgomery and one of only three in Alabama, Montgomery Ballet plays a vital role in enriching the cultural landscape of the state. The company offers a variety of ballet performances and educational programs. They tour to Butler and Elmore Counties, integrating local talent and making ballet accessible to communities without their own ballet companies. Montgomery Ballet is also dedicated to bringing ballet into the education system through its LEAP program and other initiatives.
