MNLA

MNLA, headquartered in Roseville, Minnesota, is the region's oldest and largest horticultural trade association. Founded in 1925, the organization initially served as the Minnesota State Nurseryman’s Association, evolving to the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association in 1988 to encompass the diverse membership. Today, MNLA boasts over 1,000 members representing various sectors within the horticultural industry. MNLA's membership comprises wholesale nursery growers, retail nurseries and garden centers, commercial flower growers, landscape contractors, landscape designers, irrigation contractors, lawn and landscape management services providers, professional gardening services, commercial arborists and tree care services, snow and ice management services, allied suppliers, students, and educators. The association actively supports its members through various initiatives. These include providing continuing education opportunities, offering tools for industry marketing, monitoring and influencing government affairs, promoting professionalism, advocating for responsible environmental practices, facilitating financial benefits through group purchasing and member services, and fostering collegiality and networking among members. Members stay informed about association activities through a monthly newsletter and benefit from ongoing continuing education programs tailored to each industry segment. MNLA collaborates with the University of Minnesota to sponsor the MNLA Certified Professional program.
