MMAC

Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) is a private, not-for-profit organization based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Established over 160 years ago, MMAC serves nearly 2,000 member businesses employing over 300,000 people in the Metro Milwaukee area and beyond. With a membership that mirrors the region's business landscape, over 80% of its members are small businesses with 1 to 100 employees, and nearly all of the region's Fortune 500 and Forbes 1000 companies are also members. MMAC provides a range of programs and perks to its members, but its core focus is on fostering long-term prosperity for both the community and its individual businesses. This is achieved through initiatives like the Region of Choice, which aims to increase the number of Black and Hispanic employees and managers in Milwaukee-area companies. The organization also works to attract business investment and talent through the Milwaukee 7 (M7) Partnership for Economic Development. The Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce is deeply involved in supporting talent development within the region, particularly for underserved and disadvantaged populations.
