Minnesota Robotics Institute

The Minnesota Robotics Institute (MnRI) is a research institute located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is a part of the University of Minnesota and employs 14 people. MnRI focuses on robotics research and education, aiming to address significant challenges and solidify Minnesota's standing as a global leader in the field. Their work is conducted within the Gemini-Huntley Research Laboratory, a state-of-the-art facility made possible by a generous donation from Jim & Sharon Weinel, Fred & Siri Oss. MnRI distinguishes itself through its interdisciplinary approach, uniting researchers from various fields to tackle complex robotics problems.
