Military Aviation Museum

The Military Aviation Museum is a privately held museum located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Employing 6 people, the museum generates approximately $2.5 million in annual revenue. The Military Aviation Museum houses one of the world's largest collections of flyable military aircraft from the first half century of manned aviation. Visitors can experience these aircraft up close, as there are no ropes or barriers separating them from the planes. The museum features five themed hangars, showcasing over 65 historical aircraft, including a restored German Luftwaffe hangar from Cottbus, Germany. Guests can also enjoy scenic biplane rides along the beach when weather permits. Beyond the aircraft, the museum offers a unique experience with a restored World War Two Royal Air Force control tower, the only one outside of Britain. Visitors can step back in time and imagine themselves in a "Twelve O'Clock High" moment at this historic site. The museum grounds also feature a Dinosaur Park, picnic benches, and a collection of unique military and civilian vehicles.
