Middlesex Deputy Sheriff Association

The Middlesex County Uniformed Reserve Deputy Sheriffs is a United States-based association dedicated to supporting the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office. Comprised of approximately 10 employees, the association functions as a volunteer force of pre-screened citizens who contribute their time and resources to enhance community safety. The Middlesex Sheriff's Association provides a pool of qualified individuals who assist the Middlesex Sheriff's Office in various capacities. Their services encompass tasks delegated by the office, crime prevention initiatives, and motorcycle unit operations. The association aims to improve the quality of life within the 54 cities and towns of Middlesex County. Members of the Middlesex County Reserve Deputy Sheriffs are all U.S. citizens who have undergone rigorous training at the Massachusetts Police Academy. They maintain their certifications through annual 40 hours of in-service law enforcement training and hold First Responder certifications from both the American Heart Association and the State of Massachusetts.
