MIDCOURSE CORRECTION CHALLENGE CAMP

Midcourse Correction is a United States-based non-profit organization operating out of Howell, Michigan. The organization is a small company with three employees. Midcourse Correction runs outdoor challenge camps for at-risk youth aged 11 to 18. These camps aim to help youth develop self-confidence and a greater understanding of the impact their choices have on themselves and others. The organization seeks to serve as a preventative measure for youth who are exhibiting self-destructive behaviors. The camps are intensive, highly supervised, and structured, lasting for 46 hours. Activities include daily calisthenics, high adventure ropes courses, marching, teamwork initiatives, and work projects. Throughout the weekend, seminars, or "Break Out Sessions," are held to address the underlying issues contributing to unacceptable behavior and attitudes, with the goal of fostering a more positive future.
