Michigans Children

Michigan’s Children is a nonpartisan and nonprofit organization based in Lansing, Michigan. With a staff of 13 employees, the organization focuses its efforts on advocating for the well-being of children and their families across the state. Michigan’s Children works to influence public policy at the federal, state, and local levels to create a supportive environment for children to thrive. They collaborate with lawmakers, business leaders, and community members to develop effective solutions that address the needs of children and families. The organization champions several core beliefs: equal opportunity for all children, regardless of race or ethnicity; a focus on prevention to address challenges before they escalate; the importance of civic engagement from all stakeholders; and the power of collaboration at various levels of society.
