Michigan Journal of Economics

The Michigan Journal of Economics (MJE) is a student-run publication based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The journal is housed within the Michigan Department of Economics at the University of Michigan and employs 41 individuals. MJE provides a platform for students to explore and write about a wide range of economic topics. The journal accepts submissions that cover research, literature reviews, finance, business, domestic economics, and global economics. While scholarly work is encouraged, MJE welcomes a variety of writing styles and perspectives. MJE was established to give students opportunities to develop their writing skills outside the traditional classroom setting. They aim to foster engagement with current economic research and trends. The journal encourages submissions from anyone interested in contributing to the discussion. For those interested in submitting work, MJE accepts applications from new staff writers during the fall and winter terms. Outside submissions are also welcomed.
