Mental Health First Aid Ohio

Mental Health First Aid Ohio is a small, non-profit organization based in Blue Ash, Ohio, with a team of three employees. The organization is led by Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio and is dedicated to increasing mental health awareness and support within the state. Mental Health First Aid Ohio provides evidence-based Mental Health First Aid training to adults across Ohio. This program equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health challenges and substance use disorders. The organization aims to train 22,000 Ohioans in Mental Health First Aid by June 30, 2025. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognized program adopted by over 20 countries. The curriculum is designed to empower individuals to provide initial help to those experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis.
