Medical Reallocation Initiative

The Medical Reallocation Initiative (MRI) is a humanitarian aid organization based in Berkeley, California. Founded by UC Berkeley students, MRI is a small organization with 5 employees. MRI focuses on alleviating the global shortage of medical supplies by facilitating the donation and shipment of surplus medical equipment and supplies from the United States to hospitals and clinics in need around the world. They work with partner organizations to ensure these vital resources reach those who need them most, saving lives and improving healthcare access. Since its inception, MRI has successfully facilitated the transportation of multiple shipments of medical supplies, including hospital beds, surgical tools, and other essential equipment.
