MaSSP Math and Sciences Summer Program

MaSSP Math and Sciences Summer Program is a non-profit organization based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 2016, MaSSP focuses on providing educational opportunities to Vietnamese high school students, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. The organization is staffed by a small team of four employees. MaSSP offers a summer program that introduces students to research and explores the applications of STEM subjects like mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science. Mentors for the program are a diverse group of alumni, PhD candidates, and students from prestigious universities both in Vietnam and internationally, including MIT, Princeton, the University of Chicago, École Polytechnique, ENS, and VNU. The MaSSP program has received support from prominent organizations such as the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, under the guidance of Professor Ngo Bao Chau, a Fields Medalist. The program also benefits from the involvement of distinguished professors like Dr. Haynes Miller, a mathematics professor at MIT, who contributes to the design of the program's mathematical projects.
