Marine Well Containment Company (MWCC) is a not-for-profit organization based in Houston, Texas. Founded in 2010, MWCC is comprised of 10 member companies, which represent approximately 70 percent of deepwater drilling activity in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The company employs 67 individuals, including experienced engineers and crisis response specialists. MWCC specializes in deepwater well containment response.
