The Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department is a volunteer fire department located in Great Neck, New York. With 255 members, the department serves a diverse district encompassing ten square miles and a residential population exceeding 44,000, swelling to more than triple that amount during weekdays. The department responds to a wide range of incidents, including house fires, ambulance calls, brush fires, electrical emergencies, vehicle accidents, and other emergencies. Their services extend to two miles of shorefront, encompassing residential areas, hospitals, schools, shopping centers, office buildings, and highways.
