MakeAWish Foundation of the TriCounties

Make-A-Wish Foundation of the TriCounties is a non-profit organization based in Camarillo, California. The organization consists of a small team of seven employees. Make-A-Wish® Tri-Counties grants wishes to children ages 2 1/2 to 17 who reside in Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties and have life-threatening medical conditions. Their mission is to enrich the lives of these children through hope, strength, and joy. In fiscal year 2016 alone, the foundation granted a record 98 wishes to local children. Studies conducted by TCC Group have shown that a wish experience can have a positive impact on a child's health, both physically and emotionally. They found that 89% of healthcare professionals surveyed believe wishes can influence physical health, 91% of parents observed improved emotional health in their children, and 81% saw an increase in their child's willingness to follow treatment plans.
