LUMBER RIVER COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS

The Lumber River Council of Governments is a regional council based in Pembroke, North Carolina. As one of sixteen such councils established in the state, it serves the counties of Bladen, Hoke, Richmond, Robeson, and Scotland. With a team of 26 employees, the organization focuses on supporting community development within its region. The Lumber River Council of Governments provides a variety of programs and services designed to address the needs of its five-county region.
