Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame

The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization located in Natchitoches, Louisiana, dedicated to celebrating the state's rich sports history. Currently employing a staff of 6, the organization is known for its annual Induction Ceremonies, held each June in Natchitoches, where eight new inductees are honored. The Hall of Fame Foundation, established in 1975, actively seeks sponsorships to support the museum and the Induction Weekend. The foundation is in the process of constructing the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Museum on historic Front Street in downtown Natchitoches. This new museum will feature media-rich exhibits showcasing the achievements of Louisiana's greatest athletes, coaches, administrators, and sportswriters. Exhibits will provide access to thousands of statistics and images, chronicling the state's most memorable sports moments. During the Induction Ceremonies, the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame honors eight individuals who have made significant contributions to Louisiana sports.
