Lost Valley Education and Event Center

Lost Valley Education and Event Center (LVEEC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Dexter, Oregon. Established in 1989, the company employs 21 people. LVEEC focuses on sustainability education through a holistic approach, emphasizing ecological, social, and personal growth. The organization offers various educational programs such as the Permaculture Design Course Certification, Holistic Sustainability Semester, and Social Forestry Camp, along with three-month internship opportunities. These programs engage students in learning about watershed regeneration, soil health, Pacific Northwest forest ecology, ecovillage design, natural building, non-violent communication, and consensus-oriented community development. As a steward of its 87 acres, LVEEC utilizes permaculture design principles to manage oak savanna, camas meadow, permaculture gardens, woodland streams, and regenerating forests.
