Who is Los Robles Childrens Choir
Los Robles Children’s Choir (LRCC) is a non-profit organization based in Thousand Oaks, California. The choir employs 5-9 individuals and consists of over 100 children ages 6-18 from over 45 schools across Ventura County. LRCC is dedicated to developing the vocal, aural, musical, and choral skills of young singers through its four choirs: Apprentice, Bel Canto, Amadeus, and Camerata. LRCC offers a rigorous training program that includes weekly rehearsals focusing on vocal technique, stage presence, musicianship, and teamwork. Under the direction of Artistic Director Edward Rouse, the choir is recognized for its choral artistry and musicianship. LRCC performs its own concerts in the Conejo Valley and collaborates with renowned organizations like the Los Robles Master Chorale and the New West Symphony. The choir has performed under the direction of world-renowned conductors and has sung in prestigious venues both domestically and internationally, including London, Canterbury, Salzburg, Vienna, Prague, Mainz, Denver, and Carnegie Hall in New York City. A chamber group from LRCC even had the opportunity to sing at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.
