LitWorld

LitWorld is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in New York, New York. Founded in 2007 by literacy expert Pam Allyn, the organization employs 27 people and generates an annual revenue of $2.5 million. LitWorld focuses on strengthening children and communities through the power of stories. LitWorld works with a global network of partners to provide year-round programming designed to develop seven key strengths they believe are inherent in every child. These programs encourage self-expression, foster understanding, and cultivate confidence, using literacy as a tool for self-empowerment. LitWorld believes that stories have the power to create social change.
